STALLED FAITH?
​C​hristianity in the US has been declining for the past 40 years – 60-90% of kids raised in the church are walking away from their Christian faith as young adults.  
Faith formation is being outsourced to the church as something to be taught rather than being lived, talked about, and nurtured at home.
WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING?
​A Biblical worldview has been declining for the past 3-4 decades and is at an all-time low.

  • 80 percent of born-again Christians CLAIM to have a biblical worldview, but only 19 percent DO
  • 74 percent of conservatives CLAIM to have a biblical worldview, but only 16 percent DO
  • 44 percent of millennials (ages 25-40) CLAIM to have a biblical worldview; only 4 percent DO

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
  • During the pandemic, families became isolated, people lost their jobs, mental health and well-being declined in many areas, alcohol consumption and substance use increased, all churches were impacted – many closed for a period
  • People were forced to take faith home
  • AND, since the pandemic, 25-33% of Christians are not returning to church (Pew Research Center – www.pewrsr.ch/3CVgzpa)

HOW TO MOVE THE NEEDLE

​We have been working with faith leaders in the United States and around the world since 2005 trying to turn the tide on the decline of Christianity and a Biblical worldview.  We have done this through partnerships in establishing the home as the primary place where faith is lived out and nurtured.

Faith at Home Ministries has been a lead researcher in faith practices – but there is now an urgent need to understand how faith has been impacted by the pandemic.

Just prior to the pandemic, we completed extensive research projects on faith practices - publishing results in 2018 and 2020 (Faith @Home Revealed).
SO MUCH HAS CHANGED in the past two+ years in how people practice their faith and there is an urgent need to understand the magnitude of the change.
The future of faith in America will be greatly impacted through an informed look at what has happened during the pandemic.
 
Support the research and help Lead the Change

The SURVEY partnership requires both finances and data participants. 
  • Partner on Data Participants – Invite and/or incentivize clients to participate in a 5-to-10-minute online survey on their faith practices
RESEARCH SCOPE
  • Quantitative survey questions will be conducted online through faithlife.me website
  • The goal for a sample size 1500 to 2000 respondents 
  • Target sample respondents should be from across the United States, identify as Christian, and have had occasional to regular church attendance prior to COVID.
  • Information from sample respondents will be compared to data accumulated by Faith at Home prior to COVID and against survey data from churches who are proactively taking a Faith at Home approach to ministry.
Help build awareness of the need and opportunities to rebuild Christian Faith in America.

BUILD APP
“Pray at Home” App
  • A mobile app (and book) to help families and individuals pray at home at Waketime, Mealtime, DriveTime, and BedTime.
  • Most of the content has been assembled and a prototype of the App has been completed.

We have developed and published numerous resources (books, surveys, seminars, courses), which were completely redone during the pandemic and are now self-published awaiting to be re-released.
