As you know, Satan has been at work for many generations to slowly and methodically take Christ and Christ-like living out of the home. The Faith@Home methodology is God’s response yet it is not a quick fix thing and as your missionary I want to be able to continue to provide support and encouragement to you as you wrestle with how to become more Faith@Home focused.

One of the things that God has opened a door for me to be able to provide is monthly online coaching for Sr. pastors, children’s ministry leaders and youth ministry leaders. Beginning this fall, at a monthly time yet to be determined, Sr. Pastors, children’s ministry leaders and youth leaders will be able to tune in to live, interactive, online coaching sessions targeting Faith@Home issues and topics unique to each of these ministry areas. These coaching sessions will be one hour in length and will include a “guest practitioner” who will also speak into the topic. Essentially here is how the coaching sessions will work:

First 15-20 minutes – I will introduce the topic/issue and provide my insights on this topic and why it is one of the key issues we need to address.

Next 15-20 minutes – I will introduce you as the “guest practitioner” who will provide your insights/ideas on the topic.

Final 15-20 minutes – I will lead a Q&A time where you can ask questions relating to the topic or anything else you have need of.

Please register today for online Church Coaching

Here’s why you should consider becoming a Faith@Home focused church and pastor.

Faith@Home Is About You Before Your Church. I have had literally hundreds of pastor’s comment to me that the faith at home focus saved their family. As pastors we are called to be spiritual leaders of our congregations yet many times this means we are spiritually empty when we get home. We have spent all day praying, listening, discerning and reading Scripture with people at church so when we get home we don’t have the time, interest or energy to do it with our spouse or children. Put simply, we can’t lead a faith at home movement in our churches if we aren’t leading it in our own homes as pastors and church leaders. The Faith@Home Church seminar will not only make you a better church it will make you a better person and family.

Here’s why you should consider becoming a Faith@Home focused church and pastor.

Multiple Faith@Home Models Exist. As a senior pastor I get excited when I look at different working models that can help me implement a new ministry strategy in my church. That is probably one of the things I enjoy the most is sharing with pastors a variety of models and methodologies for how they can become a more faith at home focused church. God has been leading a national and international Faith@Home movement over the last 5-10 years and as a result hundreds, if not thousands, of churches are now implementing Faith@Home strategies and initiatives across all of their ministries. We are seeing Faith@Home student ministries, children’s ministry, men’s and women’s ministry as well as senior’s ministry and even Faith@Home worship! Churches of every size, expression and affiliation are becoming Faith@Home focused and we have the privilege of serving them all and sharing their innovations with others through our website and Faith@Home coaching process.

For the past ten years God has blessed me with the opportunity to speak to thousands of church leaders regarding what it means to be a church focused on faith at home Yet, the question I hear most often is—“What do I have to do to get my pastor on board with this?” Let me answer that question speaking from the place of a former Sr. Pastor who knows what it’s like to have many people telling you what you should get “on board” with. Here’s why you should consider becoming a Faith@Home focused church and pastor.

Satan Doesn’t Want You To Be Faith at Home Focused. Satan has been strategically and methodically attacking the home, realizing that if he can get people to be, at best, one-hour Christians, he can lead the following generations away from following Christ. Current statistics say that anywhere between 60-90% of current Christian children are going to disengage from the faith when they are young adults. And the primary reason they are walking away is hypocrisy. They believe Christianity is a bunch of hypocrisy because they grew up seeing Christianity as something you did at church only, and not at home. Satan doesn’t want singles, seniors, students, or parents to live out their faith at home, because the home is the primary place where faith is lived and nurtured. Therefore Pastor, you need to realize that Satan doesn’t want you or your church to become faith at home focused. I don’t know about you but when it’s something Satan doesn’t want, that compels me even more to do it!

Faith@Home Is Not A Program. Let me be very clear, faith at home is NOT a new family ministry approach or program. Faith at home is an integrated methodology for how you will “do” church in a way that equips the people of your church to be 24/7 authentic followers of Christ at home. At the end of the day we all know that what happens in the home is more influential than what happens at church when it comes to spiritual life and formation. Therefore, as pastors and church leaders, we must lead our ministries with a faith at home focus if we want our people to be fully devoted followers of Christ. Pastor, do you want your people living out their faith 24/7 at home?

Here’s why you should consider becoming a Faith@Home focused church and pastor.

Faith@Home is not an overhaul but a 2% shift. Many pastors have shared that one of the most surprising things was the fact that becoming a faith at home focused church was a revolutionarily simple shift. John Trent describes it as a 2 degree shift. In other words, by being just two degrees off we can end up far off course over time, which describes where we are today with the fact that less than 10% of Christian households pray, read the Bible or engage in any type of family worship or service in the home. Yet the good news is in the fact that we don’t need to make a 180 degree change to fix the problem, we just need to make a 2 degree shift and we will be back on the right course! Pastor, becoming a faith at home focused church does not require a complete overhaul to how you do church, it’s simply a 2 degree shift that will have long term impact. Pastor, would you like to lead something that is going to outlast you?

Hello Mark, my name is John Kloster I am your mothers eye doctor in Crosslake, MN. Several weeks ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, a week and a half ago I was told it was grade 4 giving me maybe a year to live with chemo and radiation. I prayed that God would be glorifed thru this and He put it on my heart to ask husbands and wifes to pray together out loud on there knees if possible. I got up in church (Crosslake E-Free Church “the Log Church” and asked men to be the spiritual leaders in their families and initiate this. The response has been amazing. Women are coming up to me and hugging me with tears in their eyes telling me that their husband is praying outloud with them for the first time and initiating it. It has been a blessing at our church and our community. We have been calling it the “John Kloster Challenge” You can read about it in our local paper

May God Bless your ministry,

John Kloster
