Thank you for attending the Faith@Home church seminar! You are probably wondering what to do next? Well here are a few next steps for you and your church.

Step 1

Step 2

Go through the followinq questions individually and then discuss them with your church team.

  1. How does this Faith@Home message/challenge impact you personally? What are some things you need to do to become a more Faith@Home focused individual, mom, dad or grandparent?
  2. How focused is your church on Faith@Home currently?
  3. What are some things you can do in your specific ministry to make it more Faith@Home focused? What are you going to need to pull this off?
  4. What are some things you can do in your overall strategy as a church to make it more Faith@Home focused?
  5. Who do you need to get “on board” with the Faith@Home vision and methodology?
  6. What should you call your Faith@Home initiative? (Remember, language matters.)
  7. How do you envision launching your Faith@Home initiative?

Comments

  1. Karen Glanz says:

We attended the F@H and see this as a definite direction for our congregation. We have some middle-aged, childless couples within our ranks, and when I look at all the information available here, and from more of your sources, I’m not finding a lot on how to include this particular group of people. Can any of you comment or point me in the right direction? How have others dealt with this issue? Thank you!

  2. Pastor Mark Holme says:

First of all, begin by identifying what ministries you have that target/serve “middle-aged, childless couples”? Second, ask yourself the following questions:
    1. Are those ministries equipping them to be 24/7, faith@home focused “middle-aged, childless couples”?
    2. What would be some things a faith@home focused “middle-aged, childless couple” do?
    3. What would be things they wouldn’t do?
    4. Are your ministries to this group equipping them to do the things they should be doing, and not do the things they aren’t supposed to be doing at home to be 24/7 followers of Christ?

Great question! Hope that is helpful.
