Why become a Faith@Home focused church/pastor? Reason #2

For the past ten years God has blessed me with the opportunity to speak to thousands of church leaders regarding what it means to be a church focused on faith at home Yet, the question I hear most often is—“What do I have to do to get my pastor on board with this?” Let me answer that question speaking from the place of a former Sr. Pastor who knows what it’s like to have many people telling you what you should get “on board” with. Here’s why you should consider becoming a Faith@Home focused church and pastor.

Faith@Home Is Not A Program. Let me be very clear, faith at home is NOT a new family ministry approach or program. Faith at home is an integrated methodology for how you will “do” church in a way that equips the people of your church to be 24/7 authentic followers of Christ at home. At the end of the day we all know that what happens in the home is more influential than what happens at church when it comes to spiritual life and formation. Therefore, as pastors and church leaders, we must lead our ministries with a faith at home focus if we want our people to be fully devoted followers of Christ. Pastor, do you want your people living out their faith 24/7 at home?
