I had the incredible opportunity to serve as the opening and closing keynote speaker for the Focus On Parenting conference sponsored by Focus On The Family. This event was broadcast to over 230 churches across the United States and Canada and it was announced that over 31,000 people participated! As my daughter Malyn stated, “That was over 62,000 eyes on you daddy!”
I want to thank Focus On The Family for the opportunity to share the Faith@Home message at this wonderful event. It is clear that FOTF supports the Faith@Home movement and I look forward to continuing to grow this partnership in the future. I even had the chance to meet and have a great conversation with Jim Daly, the new President of Focus On The Family and it was great getting to know him a little better. Pray for him, he doesn’t have an easy calling having to follow Dr. James Dobson. Jim is a good man with a great heart and vision for FOTF.
I also want to thank all of you who prayed for me and the message God wanted to give through me this past weekend. It was through your prayers that the Holy Spirit was able to work so powerfully. Continue to keep me in your prayers as this week I am in Calgary and San Francisco before heading to Iowa to spend Thanksgiving week with my in-laws.
